Children's museum!

Today we went to the children's museum in salt lake it was so fun and tristen loved it!! it was a nice way for us to get out of our cramped basement and have some fun! we are hoping to do a lot more fun things like this so we dont have to spend so much time at home!

Brother love

Tristen loves helping take care of his sister! he makes sure she always has her blanket and tells her she is pretty and that he loves her he is the best big brother anyone could ask for.

Well tristen and Nathan are into no good whenever they can we were at Nathans house the other day and found Nathan and tristen playing in the laundry room tristen in the dryer good thing they are to small to turn it on hope they dont figure that out anytime soon.

from the last 2 weeks

here are some pictures from her first 2 weeks! i cant believe she is already over 2 weeks old! time goes to fast!

she is such a happy baby most of the time.
and the picture she is laying next to another baby can you believe she was 2 weeks old and he is 7 and they are pretty much the same size!!!

Lucy is here!!!

Well the time has come and Lucy it here!!! she came at just under 9lbs 9oz and 21.5in long (one big girl) and if you look at the umbilical cord you can see why! the doctors asked me as i was laying on the table just after taking her out if i knew how to make not huge babies and I guess i dont!

I had a little bit harder healing with Lucy then i did with Tristen. but i still bounced back really fast for a major surgery like that. i am really so grateful that Michael was able to be home with me to help cause i could not even hardly stand up for the first three days after i got out of the hospital.

Lucy just like tristen was in the nicu for 2 days due to low blood sugar the doctors says that my kids are too big for their gestation age to manage their own blood sugar levels. she also had johndus like tristen thankfully she only had to be under the lights in the hospital!

our little man!

Well tristen is such a fun little man and so independent. He loves to shower on his own and loves to take pictures all by himself(so we gave him my old camera from high school and he loves it he thinks everything is a picture moment and to take the picture he says say cheese and then kisses it to make the sound that normal cameras make). he cracks me up.

Also tristens best friend is Nathan and man he would never leave Nathan if we would let him stay. they hold hands and Tristen asks for him all the time more then for anyone. he wakes up and the first thing he says is Nathan play at park? it works well if we really want him to do something fast we tell him that maybe we can play with Nathan if he will hurry maybe that is really mean but it gets him moving. and when we do go to nathans as soon as we turn on his road tristen claps and giggles with glee to be seeing his best friend. I dont know what we will do if we have to move away from here and he does not get to see him as often.

so we had tristen be a train conductor for Halloween we had fun and tristen loved saying trick or treat although it really sounded like pick or peat(he has some trouble saying t's)

One more update!

Well here you go I finally got some pictures of me up I am getting big but still have a while to go. I cant wait to see my little one(only 5 weeks left!)

Tristen has been so much fun we love to go to the park with him and play in his little house he just loves to do these things.

We have been having so much fun with Tristen. sorry some of the pictures are blurry i have been having a hard time with the settings on our camera lately. well he loves tools and to copy michael its been fun if mike has hate of facing forward tristen has to too and if mike turns it backwards tristen does too. he love to wear sunglasses but he has not gotten down how to put them on right yet by himself and since he has to do everything on his own it looks cute all the time. he even wants to put on his shirts and pick them out all by himself if we get one for him he will not let us put it on him he has to go pick out one on his own. he just has to get both arms in the right holes. I made all the bedding for Lucy's bed I still have to make the bed skirt shorter but you get the idea i dont think i did a bad job. tristen also likes to ride on mikes back (what kid does not like to ride on dads back though) he would not stop bouncing so we could get a good picture though but you can see he is having so much fun.

we are so excited to have Lucy come to our home and tristen is excited to everything he touches is for baby or so he says. I love our little family. I will try to put a picture of me up soon so you all can see my big belly!
